Wood Restoration
Pre Staining Process
Prior to staining, the wood must be cleaned of all organics. Once wood has the proper moisture reading, we can proceed with sanding (if need be) & staining
Wood Brightening
Whether we plan on staining wood or just cleaning it, we always use oxalic acid. This behaves as wood brightener as well as neutralizes the wood to it's natural pH level.
Porous Wood
Wood is really porous, making organics easy to overtake the planks. We will not pretend it's possible to make it look brand new, but our processes as always ensure the best possible result.
Wood Staining
All of our clients are provided with different color options. They can choose whichever brand or color they want. We will use our professional expertise in advising for color, sanding or tone of the stain. (transparent to solids)
